Exercise in the Calm

This week I started a new exercise class and I learned some new techniques from Analii Cunningham of Movement Therapies, a part of Life Alliance, LLC.

For my entire life I have exercised utilizing the momentum created in my body.  This momentum is usually created from a jerky and clunky movement and it is one of the reasons that I have really tried to avoid most exercise programs.  

This week I learned to exercise in the calm.  Flowing my body into the exercise, not forcing a momentum that jerks the body.  This new way of thinking and moving seems to agree with my body and I look forward to continuing my classes with Analii!
